Adding more information to simple sentences
In these worksheets, students expand simple sentences into complex sentences. A short sentence and a conjunction are given; students expand each sentence with their own ideas. In the second part of the exercise, students rewrite their complex sentence with the conjunction at the start of the sentence. This provides practice in the basic structure of complex sentences.
