Uncertainties in capacity
Precision is related to the smallest divisions on the measuring device (a measuring cup with divisions of 1/8 fluid ounce is more precise than a cup with divisions of 1/4 fluid ounce). Uncertainties are related to the natural error in any physical measurement ("plus or minus 1/4 fluid oz").
