A walk around the perimeter of common shapes
The perimeter of a shape is the length of its outline. The first worksheet asks students to find the perimeters of common shapes by summing the lengths of their sides. The second worksheet provides irregular rectangular shapes on a grid; students calculate the perimeter by adding the squares along each shape's outline.
